It has now been 21 days of beard cultivation for me. It's actually starting to look kind of like a beard and less like the scruff of a lazy 28-year old. I've had many people comment about it so far. Everyone has been positive, though it's hard to know if they are being honest or if they are being nice. The coverage on my cheeks is still not what I would like it to be, but it's getting there. I need to go to Target in the next day or so to buy a little pair of scissors to trim the mustache hairs that are starting to creep down over my top lip. I am going to DC for work later this week and still need to look like a professional. Getting a haircut would probably help too.
Overall though, I'm pretty pleased with where things are going. I have been shaving my neck regularly, but I will need to start grooming the top line on my cheeks soon too. The best thing to happen recently is that the itching has gone WAY down. It seems like the itchiness started to subside in the last week or so. That was really my biggest concern, too. I wasn't going to be able to keep a beard if I was going to be scratching at it all the time.
I'll check back in with a new picture soon. Later this month, I go to visit Katie in Houston. That will be
the test.

| A little bit happier than the last picture. I just had a long, fun weekend. |
