The Experiment: Day 30

Today marks the thirtieth day of my beardedness.  I have received more compliments, which is nice.  I passed myself off as a complete professional when I was in DC last week.  It's now getting to the point where it's actually keeping my face warm.  Too bad the cool weather is almost over.

The beard gives me a slightly different persona.  I think it probably is making me look a bit older.  Some people haven't even recognized me in passing.

I'm contemplating getting a beard trimmer, but I'm holding off on that for now because I don't want to buy one if I don't end up keeping the beard.  I did buy some little scissors though to trim the more unruly regions.  What I really need to do though is to get a haircut.  My hair is just about to get out of control.  It has already started to slip into what I like to call "the wandering musician" realm a few times.

I'm still not seeing the coverage on my cheeks that I was hoping for.  If it doesn't come soon, I might have to call it quits.  I will not just have a goatee.  They just do not look good on me.  Only time will tell.

Time to pay a visit to SuperCuts.
